Come and help our community with the sustainable development of the land for a relaxed day of planting, clearing and cooking.

You can chose to help us with planting, trimming/clearing or helping with cooking for the other volunteers. Whichever you choose, you’ll get to help, discover and have fun along the way.

The lunch arrangement is vegetarian potluck, whereby you bring ingredients and our chef will cook them with your help into a healthy conscious and Earth conscious meal. You also get to see the whole chain from garden to table and back to garden.

When bringing ingredients, you can pick from this list of in season vegetables:

broccoli, onions, garlic, yellow squash, beetroots, lettuce, sweet potato, carrot, tomatoes, cabbage, potatoes, kale, choi sum.

or from this list of condiments, grains and nuts:

spring onion, ginger, pink salt, sea salt, millet, nuts, goji berries.

It will be helpful to everyone if you arrive roughly on time (between 9:30am and 10am) on the day and let us know in advance what ingredients you are bringing.

Upon registration/RSVP we will send you directions, bus time table, contact details and code of conduct at the monastery.
