In our busy daily lives and work, how can we face challenges with a clear and calm mind?
No time for sitting quietly or meditating?
This is a common challenge for many practitioners of meditation or those seeking inner peace.
In this one-day meditation retreat, HKIMS teacher Jessica Mui will introduce a method taught by the Burmese master Sayadaw U Tejaniya—practicing mindfulness and awareness in daily life, with the ease supported by having an appropriate understanding and attitude. Jessica will cover theory, practice methods, and provide guided practice.
Everyone interested, with or without prior mindfulness meditation experience, is welcome to participate.
Except for the discussion and sharing session from 4 onwards, participants are required to practice "noble silence" at other times and will be asked to put their phones away and on silent/airplane mode.
