His understanding of early buddhist teachings is deep and wide giving a relatively objective view on complex Buddhist topics.  He writes using simple and easily accessible language, that is highly relatable even for a non-Buddhist.  He is considered an excellent resource for beginners and long-time Buddhists alike.
